About
Felicia's background as a clinically trained social worker, traumatic brain injury nurse, educator, and former combat medic in the US army gives her multiple lenses to use as a therapist, life, and love coach. Her desire to have more representation for people of color in mental health counseling and her efforts to disrupt the school to prison pipeline led her to become the Community School Director at the Dr. Betty Shabazz School in Brownsville New York where she spent the last four years working with underserved low-income children of color in New York City public schools and as a member of the diversity, equity, and inclusion council at Partnership with Children. In her advocacy for mental health and social justice, Felicia is also a member of Seachange Collective. A women-owned collective that builds the capacity of people who do social justice work, through training, strategy development, and coaching. Felicia is also the founder of Alabaster Consulting, a holistic wellness firm specializing in mental health, holistic corporate wellness, and professional development training in social-emotional education, historical trauma, self-love, and self-care.

"Self-love is foundational to the art of love. It is the necessary element in loving others and the fulfillment of our divine self. Love is heart work"
